California Releases $44.7 Million for Microgrid Grants; Applications Due Oct. 20
California has begun offering microgrid grants totaling $44.7 million to woo projects that will help it achieve its clean energy goals.

“Take the Pledge” to reduce energy usage during the Solar Eclipse on Monday, August 21
On August 21st a partial solar eclipse will occur over the Pacific Northwest that will impact energy production from solar resources in California.

Local governments can leverage existing marketplaces to help engage their citizens. As part of the implementation of AB793, all regulated utilities to have energy management technology marketplaces online for their customers by the end of 2017.
