News and Opportunities California Releases $44.7 Million for Microgrid Grants; Applications Due Oct. 20 California has begun offering microgrid grants totaling $44.7 million to woo projects that will help it achieve its clean energy goals. “Take the Pledge” to reduce energy usage during the Solar Eclipse on Monday, August 21 On August 21st a partial solar eclipse will occur over the Pacific Northwest that will impact energy production from solar resources in California. IEPR Workshop on Climate Adaptation and Resilience for the Energy System The California Energy Commission will jointly conduct a workshop with the CPUC to discuss new scientific and policy advances on climate adaptation and resilience for the energy system.
